Engineering and Manufacturing Workforce Partnership Seminar

Twice a year, the Minnesota State Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence and the Engineering Center of Excellence offers a free seminar and networking opportunity called the Engineering and Manufacturing Workforce Partnership Seminar. This program provides thought leadership for workforce stakeholders. It is also a forum to network, collaborate, and learn about innovative workforce solutions.

Join us for the next seminar titled “Tools to Connect Industries and Schools” on Thursday, February 25, 2021, starting at 10:30 am. This virtual event will feature presenters from Design Ready Controls and Die Technologies to share some of their successful school connection tools. These tools are how they meet many workforce needs. Johnson High School will talk about what they do to connect with industry with the creation of their career pathways program. This program leads to student success in and outside of the classroom. Finally, there will be a panel discussion with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Trade & Industry Specialist, Executive Director of Midwest Manufacturers, and President of Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association. They will share some of the best practices and provide ideas to help you solves some of your workforce challenges and/or student opportunities.
